About Burnt Out Winery

Fred

Fred is the mastermind behind the magic in your glass. With over a decade of professional winemaking experience and a degree from the Penn State Winemaking Program, he brings serious skills — and a not-so-serious attitude — to Burnt Out Winery.

Fred is especially passionate about his dry wines (though he’ll never turn down a good fruity blend). He’s also our go-to guy for customer chats, dad jokes, and spontaneous wine nerd rants.

Chris

Chris is our behind-the-scenes hero — part accountant, part cellar hand, part “whatever needs doing right now.” He’s the go-to guy for finances, logistics, and all the heavy lifting (literally and figuratively).

Whether he’s crunching numbers, hauling cases, fixing equipment, or perfecting a new fermentation, Chris keeps Burnt Out Winery running smoothly — and keeps the rest of us slightly less panicked.

If you see someone doing three jobs at once with a calculator in one hand and a wine thief in the other… that’s probably Chris

Tai

Tai is our detail-obsessed, rule-respecting, craft-slinging powerhouse. She’s the one making sure we’re following the right steps, checking the right boxes, and not accidentally setting anything (or anyone) on fire.

When she’s not keeping our operations tight and our team in line, she’s unleashing her crafty side — designing displays, assembling decor, and whipping up creative touches that somehow make cardboard and twine look like art.

Equal parts structure and sparkle, Tai balances precision with personality.
If it needs to look good and be done right — Tai’s already on it.

Amy

Like our wine labels? That’s Amy. She’s the creative brain behind our branding, the force behind our flair, and the one who makes sure our winery actually looks as good as it tastes.

A self-declared sweet wine lover, Amy brings warmth, color, and a bit of sparkle to everything she touches — from label design and setting up events to child wrangling and running deliveries with a smile (and maybe a snack).

If it’s beautifully set up, well-labeled, or holding still because Amy told it to — she probably made it happen.
